Just after crossing Loughor Bridge I happened on The Lewis Arms. The landlord was outside, and although the pub was not open I was invited in for a cup of tea and a most interesting chat with Stephen Rogers and his wife. Stephen had taken part some years ago in The International Four Day Marches at Nijmegen in Holland - a grueling four day, fifty kilometres a day walking event - my journal says “The kindness of the Welsh people had again come to the fore”.<br /><br />A bit further on, and just beyond the point where your cycle ride started I dallied again at Pwll watching a surprisingly high class game of cricket.Sir Hughhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17908756392825206914noreply@blogger.com
